Sudan woman dies at Hyderabad airport minutes before boarding a flight to her native country

A 62-year-old woman from Sudan died at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad on Sunday morning, a few minutes before taking a flight to her country.

Hieba Mohammaed Taha Ali was in Hyderabad for treatment for a health issue at a corporate hospital in the city. She was supposed to go back to her country in the special repatriation flight J7 227 flight Badr airlines (Hyderabad-Muscat-Sudan) from RGIA.

Taha who arrived at the airport collapsed in the wheel chair and was shifted to the hospital at RGI airport where the doctors declared her dead.

The airport authorities informed the Sudan Embassy officials about the death of the passenger to make further arrangements. The special repatriation flight was later left the airport at 10.15 am.
