Tandur: RDO inspects Haritha Haram plants

Tandur: RDO Venumadhava Rao warned that negligence in growing the sapling planted during Haritha Haram, will not be tolerated. He paid surprise visit to the Telangana Social Welfare Residential School for girls near Kanjapur gate.

He inspected the trees planted as part of Haritha Haram. He expressed anger on the staff for not taking care of the plants. He said that he personally planted saplings on the premises, and they are withered due to lack of watering.

The RDO enquired about the staff, who should be on duty. He pulled up them finding PET, PD and deputy warden were absent. He told the principal that action would be taken against the staff who were found negligent. He made them watered the plants.
