Hyderabad: Telangana government is set to provide employment to the workers who returned to the native State of Telangana from other states after losing jobs in the lockdown period.

State Road and Building minister V Prashant Reddy on Saturday inaugurated an official website which helps to register the jobless workers names particularly in the construction industry on the site and seek employment.

The government will provide unskilled/skilled construction workers (barbenders, masons, electricians, plumbers, formwork carpenters, etc) necessary training in the National Academy Of Construction in Hyderabad.

Telangana workers returned/ likely to return from the Gulf, other countries and other states after losing their livelihoods due to Covid-19 will benefit through the website.

The minister said that builders associations BAI, CREDAI, TREDA, TBF, CII-IGBC will extend support in providing employment to the workers.
