Two key hearings will be held at the High Court on RTC workers' strike. The court will hear arguments for the second day in a row on petitions filed to call off the strike. At the same time, the RTC JAC leaders have approached the High Court to order the government to grant permission to the Sakala Janula Samaraberi.
The JAC leaders who filed the Lunch Motion petition have told the court that they will maintain peaceful protest, but the police didn't grant permission. The petition filed by the workers is expected to be heard shortly.
Earlier, KCR held a review meeting in the wake of High Court hearing. The chief minister directed officials on the inputs to be reported to the High Court. It remains to be seen what the High Court would say in all these petitions.
