Deekshitha bagged the seat in IIT Varanasi with 241st rank and is pursuing engineering first year. Her father is a government servant and was settled in Hyderabad. She was admitted to the hospital a few days ago and died while undergoing treatment. Her body was shifted to her native place Chandranaik Tanda in Amarachintha for her last rites. A pall of gloom descended in the tanda with the sudden death of Deekshitha.

Due to the early arrival of monsoon this year, the state is likely to witness more dengue cases compared to last year. The Telangana Health Department is bracing up for additional load during the monsoon. Diseases like dengue and malaria are the most common seasonal fevers that seek a spike every year in Hyderabad.

With Gandhi Hospital handling the coronavirus cases at present, Fever and Osmania hospitals might witness heavy rush with the seasonal fevers.
