A woman hailing from Mahabubabad district in Telangana was found dead under suspicious circumstances.
According to the police, Sandhya is the youngest daughter of Seggem Mahendar and Vimlamma, who are the residents of Chitalapalli mandal of Thorrur. She was married to Dumpalli Srikanth eight months ago who is a software engineer in US.
Days after marriage, Srikanth flew down to US along with his wife Sandhya. It is learned that Sandhya was harassed by her husband and in-laws. On Saturday morning, Sandhya is said to have committed suicide by slitting her throat. On learning her daughter death news, Sandhya's father Mahendar lodged a complaint at Thorrur police station.
