TRS kept its promise: MLC Kavitha

The TRS government, which promised of constructing Bornapalli bridge in 2014, has fulfilled and the bridge is ready for use, said MLC K Kavitha.

Along with MLA Dr Sanjay Kumar, she inspected the bridge on Thursday, constructed with an investment of Rs 70 crore.
MLC Kavitha said that during 2014 election campaigning, people brought the issue to her notice that they were facing lot of problems without proper road and bridge over Godavari River, which flows between Bornapalli village of Raikal mandal and Chinnabellala and Peddabellala villages of Nirmal district.
"I took the issue to the notice of Chief Minister KCR, who sanctioned Rs 70 crore for Bornapalli bridge construction along with laying of two-lane road covering 18 km from Bornapalli to Raikal mandal," she added.
