Hyderabad : Former Peddapally MP and TRS leader who was denied ticket by the party, G Vivekanand on Monday said that he would not contest elections this time.

In a letter issued here, Vivekanand alleged that chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao designed a plot to ensure he does not enter Parliament and orchestrated by denying ticket in the last minute and not giving enough time to prepare for contesting election.

Vivekanand denied the allegations of party leaders that he worked against party candidates in Assembly elections. He called the TRS leaders as puppets of KCR. "These puppets did not allow me to work in my constituency in my capacity of government advisor. I was not given any protocol and when I wanted to resign, I was asked not to do so by CM KCR," Vivek said in his letter.

Vivek alleged that the people who were not part of Telangana agitation and people who never uttered 'Jai Telangana' were given tickets.
