Hyderabad: DMHO, Kumaram Bheem district, as per orders of the Collector, has written to Sirpur TRS MLA Koneru Konappa urging the legislator and his wife to be in home isolation for 14 days in view of their travel history to US.

Both of them have returned from USA on March 15 and were allowed to go home as they had no Covid-19 symptoms.

As per the latest guidelines by the Centre and also implemented by all States, all people who returned from abroad have to be in home quarantine for 14 days.

However, it was found that the MLA was going about his normal daily routine meeting a good number of people and holding rallies.

After this has come to the notice of the district administration, Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha wrote to DMHO, who in return brought the issue to the notice of Konappa in the form of a letter.

A copy was also enclosed to Health Commissioner and also Director, Public Health.
