Nagarkurnool: The ruling TRS party bagged all the 11 PACS in Kollapur and made a clean sweep giving no scope to the opposition parties.

The elections for Primary Agriculture Cooperative Credit Societies (PACS), which began Saturday in Kollapur constituency of Nagarkurnool district was conducted peacefully and concluded by afternoon. The results of the elections were also announced by evening.

Kollapur MLA Beeram Harshavardhan Reddy who cast his vote at Machinenipally village in Kollapur expressed his satisfaction the way the TRS party performed in these elections.

He congratulated all the members who were elected as directors of 11 PACS in Kollapur constituency and said, "TRS has made a record sorts and it can be written in the annals of history, because no party had ever won all the elections with such a thumping majority. The TRS party has excelled in all the formats of elections and made a history. This clearly shows the people are satisfied with the performance of TRS government and its policies being implemented for the welfare and development in all spheres," said the MLA.

Reddy also thanked the farmers and the farmers' association leaders for support. He said during the past two decades the farmers of Kollapur had been reeling under tough situation and today by supporting TRS party they have taken a historic decision to clean up the filth of two decades in PACS. "We will do all that is necessary for helping the farmers and take up their issues and problems on priority basis and resolve them at a speedier pace," said the Kollapur MLA while thanking them for their support to TRS party.
