TSRTC driver attempts suicide in Hyderabad
A TSRTC driver on Saturday attempted suicide here at Musheerabad depot. Saidulu doused himself with petrol and tried to set himself ablaze. However, his attempt was foiled by the RTC workers.

As the strike touched to 43rd day, the RTC JAC decided to intensify the agitation and called for a dharna at the employees union office. Meanwhile, the police arresting the RTC workers to tried to interrupt the bus services as a part of the bus roko organised by the RTC JAC.
At Farooqnagar depot in Old City, 15 workers were taken into custody for staging a protest at the depot and 40 workers were arrested at Falaknuma bus depot.
In Khammam, RTC workers and the opposition leaders staged sit-in protest in front of the depot preventing the buses from going out of the depot. The police arrested them and shifted to the police station.
