Hyderabad: The TSRTC drivers, conductors, and other staff are continuing their strike for nearly one month across Telangana. The protesting employees insist on RTC merge in the government. However, the government has refused to accept the demand.

With the ongoing strike, many employees are going into depression over the future and taking extreme steps by committing suicide. Recently, a temporary driver Khaja working at Shadnagar deport has attempted suicide by consuming pesticides. The fellow staff who noticed rushed him Mahabubnagar government hospital.

Speaking on this occasion, RTC JAC Convenor Narsimulu said that driver Khaja is a native of Nagarkurnool. So far, RTC workers who were in the strike have committed suicide. But a temporary driver's suicide attempt has gained attention.
