VRO caught by ACB while taking bribe in Mahabubabad

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday arrested a Village Revenue Officer (VRO) after being caught red-handed while taking bribe here at Garla in Mahabubabad district.
The VRO, Shiva Rao is learned to have demanded money from a farmer for registering nine acres of the latter's land. The farmer who did not have money to offer the VRO has approached ACB.
The officials caught Shiva Rao red-handed while taking Rs 1.44 lakh from the farmer.
