Wanaparthy: Devarkadra MLA Ala Venkateshwar Reddy inspected the 15-day action plan development works in Kottakota municipality on Friday. As part of the inspections, the MLA visited all the wards in the municipality and checked the drains, areas of garbage dumps, roads, electric poles and others in the municipality region and directed the concerned officials to immediately take up the cleaning up of drains, removal of unwanted bushes, clearing of old dilapidated buildings and walls and repairs of roads in the wards.
The 15-day action plan programme is not a onetime affair; the municipal authorities must continue it this action plan programme. They must work in coordination with the local public representatives and ensure that they find out issues and problems of the people and resolve them in a phased manner, observed the MLA.
