Women, Child and Tribal Welfare Minister Satyavathi Rathod, who met the family members of the girl who was raped and murdered by her friend in Warangal on Thursday, has on Saturday assured them of stringent punishment to the culprit.
Warangal: Women, Child and Tribal Welfare Minister Satyavathi Rathod, who met the family members of the girl who was raped and murdered by her friend in Warangal on Thursday, has on Saturday assured them of stringent punishment to the culprit.
Condemning the attacks against women, she said that punishment would be in such a way that no other person would dare to commit such crime again. She also assured the family members of providing help from the State Government.
"With the help of technology, the police have been able to track the wrongdoers within no time," she said, stating that the Police department is now equipped with the latest technology to crack the cases. She told the people to trust the police and seek their help in times of distress. Satyavathi assured better treatment to the victim's father who is ailing, besides other assistance.
