We are relieved: Disha's parents
The parents of veterinary doctor Disha, who was raped and burnt to death, expressed that they were relieved by the killing of four accuses in police encounter during early hours on Friday.

The neighbours living in the locality, especially women, celebrated by offering sweets, hugging each other, bursting crackers, and raising slogans in favour of Hyderabad police and media for their role.
They said that the Hyderabad police have done justice to Disha's parents by eliminating the alleged accused responsible for her murder.
They raised slogans 'Telangana police zindabad,' 'we got justice for Disha.' and etc. A woman said that with this encounter, incidents like rapes would decrease in future as there would be fear among them that police will act tough on them.
Disha's mother said that she was very happy with the encounter and added that they did not expect that justice would come so early.
"There is no justice to Nirbhaya even after seven years of heinous crime. I thank the media and police. The encounter has given some relief to us. We want to see the dead bodies of the accused.
We are unable to bear the fact that our daughter is not with us... my daughter was good towards all," said Disha's mother, who was surrounded by several women.
Disha's father thanked the Telangana police and government for what he called a fast action. "I saw the news on TV this morning... I thank all the people including police, media and people in general... they have all fought as if their own child died.
I don't think we will get total justice because we will not get our daughter back but it gives us some relief... we are happy with the encounter and people are also happy," said Disha's father.
Disha's sister said that with this type of punishment, everyone will think before doing anything unlawful.
