World AIDS Day observed at Algol
Speakers said it is the time to build a healthy society. World AIDS Day was observed here at TMR School and Junior College at Algol.
Zaheerabad: Speakers said it is the time to build a healthy society. World AIDS Day was observed here at TMR School and Junior College at Algol. Speaking on the occasion, principal Busi Jyothirmayi said that an awareness should be created on AIDS, a disease which killed 40 million people across the globe and about a 35 million people are still suffering with HIV.
Competitions like quiz, painting and Red Ribbon Campaigns were conducted on the occasion. Students took out a rally and gave the slogans "Take Care and Be Aware," "End HIV, Build Healthy Society." School Coordinator K.S.Jameel, Vice Principals Maqsood Ahmed, Rajyalaxmi, Health Supervisors Prashanth Kumar, Solomon Raj, Physical Director N.Vishwanath, and all the teaching and non-teaching and others were also present.
