National Junior Archery Championship begins in city
Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas, Machilipatnam MP Konakalla Narayana inaugurated the Cherukuri Olga National archery championship for under -14 and under- 9 at the Siddhartha college grounds on Tuesday .

Young archers below 14 years of age participating in under -9 and under -14 categories in the national juniors tournament to be held from October 24 to 28.
Young archers from many parts of India are enthusiastically taking part in the event. The two MPs Kesineni Srinivas and Konakalla Narayana enquired about the arrangements made for the players and coaches.
Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) Managing Director N Bangara Raju handed over a cheque of Rs 3 lakh to Archery association for hosting the event. Archery Association Secretary Cherukuri Satyanarayana has explained the details of competitions and arrangements made for both players and coaches.
