18 boats trapped in floodwaters at Polavaram

With the continues increase of flood levels in the Godavari river, 18 boats got trapped in the floodwaters at upper cofferdam of the Polavaram project. In which, three boats have sunk in the river.
Rajahmundry: With the continues increase of flood levels in the Godavari river, 18 boats got trapped in the floodwaters at upper cofferdam of the Polavaram project. In which, three boats have sunk in the river.
There are 31 passengers in the remaining 16 vessels. They all have reached on the upper cofferdam of the project. The police and revenue officials are making arrangements to bring them out.
All the trapped people are known as the residence of Dawaleswaram village in East Godavari district. This incident happened when they were returning from fishing on Friday morning.
