400 women take part in Pinkathon Day in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam: With an aim to promote fitness and health among women, the second edition of Pinkathon Day was organised at RK Beach here on Sunday.
The event saw close to 25,000 women taking part in 3 and 5 km run held on the same day across 75 cities in India and 10 other countries. In Visakhapatnam, about 400 participants took part in the event that included warm-up exercises.
The platform provided an opportunity for the health-conscious to bond over fitness. Those who completed the run successfully walked away with medals.
