In a tragic incident, a nine-month-old baby who was treated at GGH after being severely wounded on the neck while playing at home. According to Guntur Lalapet SHO Firoz, nine-month-old Jessi, daughter of Turaka Yesubabu of Balajinagar 6th Line, was playing at home on Friday when a powder canister struck her.
The parents, who were late in noticing the incident, took the baby to JGH for treatment. The baby was discharged on Thursday after treatment. However, Yesubabu's daughter died.
