A series of encounters in Visakha Manyan early in the week where seven Naxals were killed in the exchange of firing, the police have held search operations in various parts of the agency.
Visakha: A series of encounters in Visakha Manyan early in the week where seven Naxals were killed in the exchange of firing, the police have held search operations in various parts of the agency. As per the latest reports, the Maredmilli police have taken a senior Maoist and cadre of Jana Natya Mandali a cultural wing of CPI Maoists. A woman Maoist Kalavathi alias Aruna injured in the exchange of fire at Visakah region. The woman Naxalite was given shelter and undergone treatment in Gummirevula.
Upon the information received by sources, The police took her into custody. The police have also arrested the local leader who gave shelter to woman Maoist Aruna. However, the news on the arrest of the Maoist is yet to be confirmed by the Police sources.
The search operations in the agency are still underway, and the police are trying to catch the Naxals who are residing in the Visakha Manyam.
