Amaravati farmers who are protesting against the proposal of three capitals have given yet another shock to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. They filed a petition in the High Court challenging the issue of GO in respect to the evacuation of offices to Kurnool. The farmers' petition claimed that GO No. 13 was illegal and included the State Government, the Chairman of the CRDA as the respondents. Advocate Karmanchi Mani Indranil Babu filed a petition on behalf of the farmers. The petition would come for hearing on Tuesday.

Recently, the government has issued an order to move the several government offices to Kurnool. AP Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy said there was nothing wrong with moving government offices to Kurnool. He said that the government is planning to make Kurnool as the judicial capital.

Minister Buggana also asserted that they are acting according to the agreement of the Sribagh. He explained that they are moving forward to do justice to all parts of the state.
