The government has decided to conduct a door-to-door survey to identify the victims.

Speaking on the occasion, AP Minister Gautam Reddy said that the situation in the area is now under control. He said that the situation would be better in another 48 hours "Door-to-door surveys are also being conducted to identify the victims of 5 surrounding villages, " Minister said. Minister Gautam Reddy explained that the government is taking all measures to improve the situation. He suggested that the people of the surrounding villages should be brave; also not to believe the news that is going viral on social media.

On the other hand, Kannababu said that the Central Committee has been appointed to look into the incident. The state government has also appointed a committee that has started its work on Sunday. The minister said that 588 persons have been admitted during the Visakhapatnam incident so far and 111 have been discharged. Minister Kannababu said all chemicals in Vishakha would be inspected.
