The Andhra Pradesh Assembly Winter Sessions are scheduled to start on December 2. The assembly meetings would take place for 15 days. For this purpose, the assembly has decided to make arrangements five days in advance.

Speaker Tammeneni Sitaram attended a meeting of Presiding Officers in Delhi on Saturday to discuss the use of IT services in assembly activities.

Speaking on occasion, he said that the computerization of the AP assembly operations had been completed up to three stages and the proposals for full digitization will be sent to the centre by December 17.

On the other hand, the speaker also made interesting comments on the MLA's defection saying that the MLA's who would switch parties need to resign for the post a stated by the Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy. Speaking on VAllabaneni Vamsi's episode, the speaker said that the MLA's who are suspended by the parties could remain as an independent MLA.
