AP government begins disbursement of YSR Pension Kanuka for the month of June
YSR Pension Kanuka: The distribution of social security pensions in Andhra Pradesh has started early in the morning on Monday. The pensions were distributed by village volunteer at the doorstep of the beneficiaries.
YSR Pension Kanuka: The distribution of social security pensions in Andhra Pradesh has started early in the morning on Monday. The pensions were distributed by village volunteer at the doorstep of the beneficiaries. A total of 2,37,615 volunteers are on job for distributing the pension across the state to 58.22 lakh beneficiaries. The state government has released Rs 1,421.20 crore and the system of geo-tagging of photos of pensioners will be continued for this month as well instead of biometrics. A special mobile app is used for this purpose.
On the other hand, the Andhra Pradesh government has taken another crucial decision regarding pensions. It has been decided to grant the pension within 5 days after submitting application. The state government will roll out the process from today.
The new policy is being made available at the behest of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries are paid pensions. That amount will be distributed to the beneficiary starting next month. With this new policy, the pension applicant will not have to shuttle around the offices. The application process will begin today at the village secretariat, Rajababu, CEO of SERP said.
