AP government gives key posting to PV Sindhu
AP government has given a key posting to Indian badminton star PV Sindhu. As she completed her training period as a Deputy Collector, the government has appointed her as the OSD of Lake View Guest House in Hyderabad.
Amaravati: AP government has given a key posting to Indian badminton star PV Sindhu. As she completed her training period as a Deputy Collector, the government has appointed her as the OSD of Lake View Guest House in Hyderabad.
Over this, Chief Secretary Nilam Sawhney has issued the orders. The government has decided to upgrade the current vacant Assistant Director post to the OSD level and directed the protocol director to send a proposal on it.
The Previous government has offered Deputy Collector post to Sindhu over winning a medal at the last Olympics. Where she has taken charge as DC, and she was also provided on duty facility from December 7, 2018, to August 30, 2020. The government has stated this on-duty matter in the orders.
After the YCP formed the government in AP, Sindhu has met Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as a courtesy call in Amaravati. During the meeting, Sindhu told CM that she is getting ready for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. For which CM YS Jagan also wished her all the best and assured to provide land to establish a badminton academy in Visakhapatnam.
