AP govt schools to get facelift soon
As per the decision taken by the government to facelift all the government schools in coming two years, the district officials are collecting the details of the schools in Vizianagaram district.
Vizianagaram: As per the decision taken by the government to facelift all the government schools in coming two years, the district officials are collecting the details of the schools in Vizianagaram district.
This district has around 2,300 schools in 34 mandals and in 4 municipalities. The district has 2,757 schools under municipalities, government, mandal parishad, Zilla parishads, primary schools, upper primary schools, model schools and KGBV schools.
The government stated that it would take all the photographs of the schools now and after two years, it would show how the schools are developed and the new photographs of schools would be released. As per the instructions came from the government, the district officials are collecting all the information and details of the schools which includes furniture, toilet facilities, library, laboratory, compound walls, computers, printers and even the condition of buildings.
District Educational Officer B Nagamani stated "We are getting complete information from all the schools in the district. Even the details of kitchen and its condition also would be sent to government. We are expecting that the condition of all the schools would be changed and the pupil will have all the facilities."
