The AP police are on high alert, suspecting terror attacks on coastal districts and famous religious temples.

Amaravati: The AP police are on high alert, suspecting terror attacks on coastal districts and famous religious temples. Continuous provocation from Pakistan, suspected activation of the terror camps across the Line of Control (LOC), disturbance in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) are some of the reasons in India to worry, observed a senior officer in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Govt of India.

The MHA has sent an alert message to the AP police on suspected terrorists infiltration into the state, through the vast coastline.

On the other hand, the intelligence sleuths along with the police have been conducting searches in Tirupati, Nellore and other areas. Marine police also conducting heavy patrolling on the coast of the Bay of Bengal. Fishermen requested to inform the presence of unknown persons, if they found. Tirupati, Nellore and Visakhapatnam are identified as sensitive areas.
