Rajamahendravaram: The APSRTC East Godavari Regional Manager RVS Nageswara Rao said that three driving training schools would be setup in Kakinada, Amalapuram and Rajamahendravaram, the head quarters of parliamentary constituencies. The APSRTC is arranging the driving schools in parliamentary constituency headquarters under the skill development programme, he added.

Speaking to the media at the central bus station here on Friday, Nageshwara Rao said training would be imparted for 32 days including 16 days allotted for practicals and 16 days for theory classes, he added. The fee for the training is Rs 20,000. After completion of training the candidates are likely to get jobs.

Letters sent to the officials of ITDA Rampachodavaram and officials of the SC and the BC corporations, he added. The interested candidates can apply to the managers of Rajamahendravaram, Amalapuram and Kakinada depots.

Operation of air-conditioned buses were reduced as the passengers are not interested to travel in them due to Corona Virus, he said. Meanwhile, the APSRTC is running the buses as per the demand of the passengers,, Raoa added .

Precautionary measures were taken in all the bus stations in the district to avoid the dreaded Coronavirus, which ahs become a pandemic, he added.
