Atchannaidu arrest: Former MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao was arrested for staging protest in Visakhapatnam
The police arrested former Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao while he was staging a protest against the former Minister and Telugu Desam Party MLA K.Atchannaidu's arrest, following the call given by TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Chandrababu Naidu. Srinivasa Rao along with other TDP MLAs were taken into custody by the police in Gajuwaka while staging a dharna.
On the other hand, the TDP leaders house arrested Umamaheshwar Rao and Rajya Sabha candidate Varla Ramaiah to prevail the situation from any sort of violence in the city as Atchannaidu was shifted to Vijayawada after the arrest.
The Anti Corruption Bureau sleuths, after probing into the Rs 975.79 cr worth allegations have unearthed irregularities including purchase of drugs, lab kits, surgical items, furniture and other services, in which former Minister and TDP MLA Kinjarapu Atchannaidu was arrested on Friday.
