The CBI has increased its speed in the aggravated Ayesha Meera case who was raped and murdered in Vijayawada in 2008. Recently, CBI has dug out Ayesha's body and carried out re-post mortem. The CSFL and DNA report were received by the CBI, which confirms Ayesha has an injury in the head. However, the whereabouts of the accused have not yet been revealed.

Last December, Ayesha Meera's body was re-postmortem under the supervision of authorities for about six hours. Forensic experts have registered the injuries. A thorough examination of the bones, hair and nails were done and was found with injuries to the skull and bones. The forensic team said it would gather evidence and prepare a full report soon.

Tenali Sub Collector and MRO examined the process of Panchanama. Forensic experts who completed the autopsy submitted the report to the High Court on a sealed cover while CBI is going all out in the investigation of Aisha Meera murder case to submit the final report.

In December, Ayesha Meera was raped and murdered in a private hostel in Ibrahimpatnam, a suburb of Vijayawada. Since then, the case has taken several twists. On March 31, 2017, the High Court acquitted Satyam Babu of the murder. However, Satyam Babu was acquitted in the case but the actual culprits were not revealed yet.
