Kadapa: The District level Review Committee meeting (DLRC) of bankers was held here on Saturday and it was chaired by District Collector Ch Harikiran. The meet has decided to provide Rs 10,937 crores loans to priority sectors under Potential Link Plan(PLP) for 2020 financial year in the district.

Addressing the meeting Collector Ch Harikiran has urged the bankers to act more responsibly in disbursing crop loans in time to the farmers as Chief Minister is giving top priority to agriculture and its allied wings like infrastructure facilities, Food& Agro Processing units, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises and Investment Credit & Working Capitals.

He said total 7, 626 crores were allocated for the purpose. The Collector said that loans worth Rs 6,200 crores were disbursed (making 55. 96 per cent) as against the target of Rs 11,078 crores by 30th September 2019 relating to 2019-20 credit plan. He directed the bank officials them to complete remaining loans by the end of March 2020.

He said that government is keen to extend financial support to the SC, ST, BC, Minorities under schemes like Vahana Mitra, Rythu Bharosa, Nethanna Hastam, Ammavodi, etc. ``Bankers should not recover the dues from the beneficiaries by linking these schemes. These schemes are purely meant to individual benefits, the Collector said.

On this occasion Collector released credit plan for 2020-21 financial year .JC-2 Siva Reddy, RBI lDO AM Khan, Nabard AGM G Srinivasulu, LDM Anjayaneyulu and others were present.
