Campaign on environmental protection begins
The Computer Science department of Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology started three-day campaign on ‘Impact of Information Technology on Environmental Protection’ at Padarthi Sundaramma Girls High School here on Tuesday.

Fr Chiranjeevi, assistant director of the college attended as the spokesman for the awareness programme. Addressing the students of girls high school, Chiranjeevi said that protecting greenery across the planet lies in our hands.
By educating people and creating awareness on environmental protection, we can safeguard the world around us, he said. He further explained the importance of environment and to what extent the technology can be used to protect it. College principal Dr O Mahesh, faculty M Deepthi, college extension coordinator A Rajesh, faculty members and students were present.
