Prakasam: With TDP leaders from Prakasam district are deserting the party one after the other TDP chief Chandrababu held a meeting with Prakasam district leaders. MLAs from Prakasam district, Eluru Sambasivarao, Gottipati Ravi and Swami along with MLA Sathyaprasad participated in the meeting and complained to Chandrababu that the development activities are not done due to the failure of the authorities hence TDP leader is joining YSRCP.

The meeting has come after the Chirala MLA Karanam Balarama Krishnamurthy (Balaram) decided to join YSRCP. Karanam would meet chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and shift the party along with his son Venkatesh. Earlier, the TDP leader and former MLA Kadiri Baburao from Prakasam district joined YSRCP and off late Balaram will join the YSRCP, which deserts TDP.

He said that he had to join the YSRCP party in the wake of local body elections and development of his constituency. He will meet Chief Minister at 3 pm.

YSRCP leader and MLC Pothula Suneetha has also welcomed the joining of MLA Karanam Balarama Krishnamurthy into the ruling party. She said that she will work in tandem with the MLA in bringing the government's revolutionary programs to the common public and follow the instructions of the party high command.
