CM to launch YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme in Nellore
Agriculture Minister Kurasala Kannababu on Sunday said that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy will launch the ‘YSR Rythu Bharosa’ scheme in Nellore district on October 15.
Kakinada: Agriculture Minister Kurasala Kannababu on Sunday said that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy will launch the 'YSR Rythu Bharosa' scheme in Nellore district on October 15.
Speaking to media here, the minister said that under the scheme, the beneficiary will get Rs 12,500 per annum and the amount will be directly credited to farmers bank account.
He said the scheme was supposed to be launched in 2020 before kharif but seeing the distress of farming community, the Chief Minister preponed it to October 15 to benefit the farmers. He said the list of eligible farmers would be prepared and registration process was still underway. "We have identified some eligible beneficiaries' names. The names of some of deceased farmers are listed in the scheme," he said.
Mr. Kannababu alleged former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu did not implemented any schemes during his five years stint and played cheap tricks in the elections by diverting funds to Pasupu Kumkuma and others.
