CM YS Jagan Mohan committed to hold civic body polls with no role for money, liquor: Botsa Satyanarayana
Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Botsa Satyanarayana blames TDP chief Naidu for depriving BCs of 34% quota
Anantapur: Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Botsa Satyanarayana has said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was determined to conduct municipal elections with no role for money and liquor.
"If it is proved that money and liquor were used to win civic body elections they would lose their posts later," he said.
Addressing a press conference at R & B Guest House here on Friday, the Minister regretted that 34 per cent reservations could not be implemented for BCs due to the evil strategy of TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu in blocking its implementation through court writ petition.
He hoped that the people will see through the dubious role of Naidu and give a sweeping victory to the YSRCP in the local body elections. He maintained that the State government had filled all posts in government with SC,ST, BC candidates and no government since independence had achieved this unique feat.
He asked people to stand with the YSRCP government which will hold the elections before the end of the month.
