CPM yatra against BJP policies begins in Eluru
Protesting against the policies of the BJP-led government at the Centre, the CPM launched a Jeep yatra here on Friday.
Eluru: Protesting against the policies of the BJP-led government at the Centre, the CPM launched a Jeep yatra here on Friday. The yatra is aimed at creating awareness among people on the harm caused to nation's economy because of the 'faulty policies' of the BJP government.
The party delta committee leader JNV Gopalan, launching the yatra, alleged that the BJP government was looting the people to strengthen corporate forces in the country. While the government showering sops on corporate sector, it was implementing anti-people policies ever since it returned to power four months ago.
Because of the faulty polices, many industries closed down while purchasing power came down drastically. The economy has suffered a lot affecting every sector in the country, he said.
Praja Natya Mandali artistes will also participate in the yatra to enlighten people on the wrongdoings of the BJP government, he added.
