Deposits upto 10,000 paid to AgriGold victims in first phase: Deputy CM
Deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy said that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to solve the problems of AgriGold victims.
Chittoor: Deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy said that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to solve the problems of AgriGold victims. Online remittance will be made to all the AgriGold victims whose deposit amount is below Rs.10,000, he said.
Following the instructions from the government, District Collector N B Gupta disbursed their deposits as per the guidelines at a meeting held at Nagaiah Kalakshethram here on Thursday in which the Deputy Chief Minister took part as chief guest.
Addressing the AgriGold victims, K Narayana Swamy regretted there were 12 lakh AgriGold depositors in eight states and from 1995, the deposit holders were facing lot of injustice from the company.
In Chittoor district, first phase distribution of deposits to the AgriGold victims was completed. In the second phase Rs.5.81 crores will be distributed" he added. Joint Collector 2 V R Chandra Mouli and others were present.
