Election officers seized Rs 1.34 cr cash, registered cases on 53 persons in Kadapa district
The district administration has seized RS 1.34crores cash, RS 90lakhs worth gold and other thing Total RS 2.84 crores by registering cases against 53 persons since election schedule announced in the district.

According to the District Collector and District Electoral Officer CH. Harikiran RS 1.34lakh worth 32,700liters of liquor by arresting 65 persons in 155 excise cases.
He said Rs 36 lakh cash, and RS 37.50lakh worth saris were seized on the charges of not having proper bills during the raids by the income tax department. He said 72 belt shops were closed and in view of preventing entry of liquor, check posts were set up at various places.
