Tirupati: TTD Employees Co-op Credit Society Limited (Employees Bank) president Ammiti Muni Venkata Reddy and TTD Staff and Workers United Front (SWF) senior leader M Nagarjuna urged the TTD management to arrange separate buses for TTD employees to travel from Tirupati to Tirumala for attending duties.

At present the TTD employees attending duties in Tirumala are travelling in APSRTC buses along with pilgrims coming from various parts of the country for darshan of Lord, Venkat Reddy said adding that while travelling to Tirumala and back in RTC buses along with pilgrims there may be high chances of infection of Coronavirus. He stressed for running separate buses for TTD staff attending duties in Tirumala.

In a letter to TTD Executive Officer, the copies of which was released to the media here on Monday, the Employees' Bank chairman urged the EO to issue necessary instructions to the concerned officials for running separate buses to employees.

In the letter, Muni Venkat Reddy said that the darshan which was initially began with 6000 pilgrims is now doubled to 12,000 and it may increase further in nearby future. He underlined the need for separate buses to employees working in Tirumala.

Nagarjuna said running separate buses for employees discharging duties in Tirumala is essential to ensure more safety to the employees in view of growing cases of Covid in many states.
