Gas leak leads to fire in fast food centre

Vijayawada: The customers and the staff of Sri Chaitanya Fast Food Centre had a narrow escape when a fire broke out in the kitchen of the fast food centre at Rythupeta in Nandigama on Friday.The fire broke out due to the leakage of gas cylinder. On receiving the information, fire fighters swung into action and controlled the fire. No casualty reported.

According to the information, the hotel management was using small domestic gas cylinder. The residents of the village demanded that the concerned department take stern action on the hotel management for violating rules and stop supply of domestic LPGs to hotels and fast food centres.
