Guntur: Opposing discharge of TDP deputy floor leader in the State Legislative Assembly K Atchannaidu from GGH, the party leaders staged a protest at the district party office on Thursday.
They condemned the release of Atchannaidu while undergoing treatment in GGH. The TDP leaders criticized that the government hatched a conspiracy and arrested K Atchannaidu in connection with the Rs 150 crore ESI scam.
They alleged that the doctors at the GGH released K Atchannaidu without conducting Covid-19 tests on him and alleged that the government was harassing the TDP leaders.
MLC AS Rama Krishna, former ministers Alapati Rajendra Prasad, Nakka Anand Prasad, TDP leaders were among those present.
