The High Court on Monday heard petitions filed in connection with Chandrababu's arrest at Visakhapatnam airport.

The High Court on Monday heard petitions filed in connection with Chandrababu's arrest at Visakhapatnam airport. The Advocates who argued on behalf of petitioner former TDP MLA Sravan Kumar was erred in granting notices under CRPC 151. The High Court has ordered DGP to explain how could they impose 151 CRPC.

After the arguments, the bench asked the DGP to appear before the court on March 12. The court also questioned the police as to why they were unable to control the protestors who created the havoc at the airport. On the other hand, counters have already been filed by the DGP and Visakhapatnam Commissioner. However, the High Court postponed the hearing to March 12.

On Thursday, Chandrababu Naidu who came to Visakhapatnam airport as part of his Praja Chaitanya Yatra was blocked by the section of people. The protestors pelted stones and tomatoes at Naidu's convoy. Since there is no scope for the police to resolve the issue have arrested Chandrababu Naidu citing security measures.
