The Andhra Pradesh high court on Wednesday has given a notice to DGP Goutam Sawang to appear in the court on Friday, February 14. The High Court on Wednesday responded to the two-man missing case and advised DGP to present in court in two days. The Habeas Corpus petition has been filed in the High Court in the past by against the police for illegally arresting two persons - Reddy Gautam and Elletti Lochini from north coastal Andhra.
The High Court in this regard ordered a judicial inquiry. A senior civil judge of Visakhapatnam has been appointed to conduct a judicial inquiry. According to the High Court orders, a senior civil judge of Visakhapatnam has completed the inquiry. He then presented the report to the High Court.
The Amaravathi High Court, which examined the report submitted by Senior Civil Judge of Vishakhapatnam and has asked AP DGP Goutam Sawang to appear before the court on February 14. On Wednesday, the DGP was instructed to prepare a clarification with the relevant details.
