Jaswith, a four-year-old boy who was abducted from his home at Mandapet has been rescued by the police. The district superintendent of police Nayeem Asmi reunited the boy with parents.

The assailants who abducted the boy had left him at Kuthukuluru of Rayavaram mandal and fled away, said the SP adding that their team rushed to the spot and found Jaswith. The SP thanked the public for recognising Jaswith and informing them.

The police suspected that the boy was abducted over the family personal issues and expedited the investigation.

Jaswith was abducted on Monday night by some unidentified assailants who attacked the boy's grandmother. The police formed into 17 teams to trace the boy.
