Joint Collector inspects PDS shop, notices irregularities

Kakinada: East Godavari Joint Collector Lakshmisha on Wednesday inspected the PDS shop number 27 at Penumarti village in Kakinada and found some irregularities in the stocks. This includes 35.5 kg of sugar less in the shop as per the stock register.

The JC directed the mandal supply officer (MSO) to verify the stock position of other items in the shop and to initiate further action on the dealer including booking of case under 6A Essential Supplies Act.
