Kakinada: About 400 junior doctors affiliated to Junior Doctors Association of Rangaraya Medical College and Kakinada Government General Hospital (KGGH) boycotted the duties on Friday. According to representatives of the association Dr Jeevan Reddy and Dr Vasu Sunil, though several representations were made to government over their pending stipend from February this year no response was received from them so far.

Hence they were forced to opt for indefinite boycott of duties from Friday till they receive favourable response from government. The issue of their pending stipend from February has been referred to the concerned at state-level last week, Dr Raghavendra Rao said.
