The district police officials plan to settle grievances received during Spandana programme through online

Kadapa: The district police officials plan to settle grievances received during Spandana programme through online.

After a gap of 70 days lockdown, the Spandana programme was held at SP office through online system here on Monday.

To avoid people coming to the SP office and DSPs offices from distance places police administration introduced a new system from Monday.

As per this system, the victims need not go either SP office or DSP office. They can submit the representation to the women protection secretaries in the village Secretariat at their villages. They can scan the representation to the SP office. During Spandana programme SP interacts with the victim through video conference and settle the matter.

The next day, local constable or women protection Secretary will deliver the written orders signed by SP to the door step of the victim. According to the official sources about 500 to 700 people across the district were coming to the SP office for finding solutions to their problems in Spandana programme every Monday.

When contacted by Hans India, Superintendent of Police KNN Anburajan said that this kind of system will serve two purposes one is avoiding people approaching people to SP office from distance places and second one is preventing the spread of Coronavirus.
