Kakinada: Under the directions of Superintendent of Police Adnan Nayeem Asmi, Prohibition and Excise Department conducted Operation Sura at Yetimoga here on Friday.

According to Prohibition and Excise Inspector P Srinivas, a group of 10 policemen took part in raids that began at 5 am and continued till 10 am.

They arrested three persons for possessing Illicitly distilled liquor and seized 400 litres from them.

Sub-inspectors M Kumar, Mohammad Vali, head constable S Ramana and others participated in the raids.
